Although this industry has been around for two centuries it is in the process of reinventing itself; especially in America. The US government has included significant funding for Rail projects in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, otherwise known as "The Stimulus Package". Currently an $8 billion downpayment has been made toward High Speed Rail with more to come over the next five years. The ten federally designated high-speed corridors will be competing for these Federal funds and Rail Industry Today will keep you informed of the changes and status of these grants.
Rail Industry Today is produced by Carmen Caldero and focuses on current, key topics for executives interested in keeping abreast of the rapidly changing landscape in the rail industry. Rail Industry Today, will be the leading talk show for rail industry executives, including developers, engineering firms, local and state transportation departments, along with the many other constituents around the industry. The program airs live every Saturday at 2pm CST starting in November.
